9 weary travelers arrived at our Fort Lauderdale hotel the night before our cruise and were too tired to go searching for a restaurant at 9:00pm. We chose Piezan's for delivery. Good prices, lots of choices, delivered as promised to the hotel room door. 9 happy travelers.

Their pizza is pretty tasty! Loved it very much.

Realllly really good meatballs. I'm in love with this restaurant. Not to mention the hot delivery guy. ;)

Ordered a large half cheese half sausage pizza for delivery. Pizza came fairly quickly for delivery (30-40 mins) and was hot (quite important for delivery food). I loved this pizza! Will definitely be ordering from here again - quality pizza for cheap (less expensive than those gross chains like Pizza Hut)

We ordered the Bruschetta pizza. Really Really Delicious pizza! Great service too!

**This is not a sit-down restaurant. This is for take-out of delivery.** I like that this place uses quality ingredients in their pizza. Very delicious and it didn't make me feel ill like I do when I eat Pizza Hut or Papa John's. It takes longer for them to push food, but this is a family restaurant, and the demand of course is high, so you should allow 45 minutes for a larger order. It is worth the wait. The food is phenomenally good.

AMAZING pizza. the crust is thing and crispy and flaky.. their margarita pizza puts everyone else to shame-- you don't miss the sauce or the meat! Their lunch special includes two slices and soda for $5. ordered the habanaro meatball sandmich and it was as advertised. it had the perfect kick, and i swear the amt of meatball meat was equivalent to 2 hamburgers.. i was full before i could finish it. this place is worth coming!

Great little place! It was perfect, we walked in and they only have one table so it was just us. The food was fresh and delicious, the staff was friendly and courteous. I'd definitely return to try their pie.

Dinky little dump of a place with some low end decor inside, not much to look at but an old ratty dan marino jersey so its kind of despressing inside. The pizza was real good but the meatballs were beyond terrible. I would definately recommend the carry out deal mon-wed for like $7 or 8 but DO NOT ORDER THE MEATBALLS! Omg those were the worse things I ever tasted, A microwavable dinner beats these meatballs easily. they must have gone to extraordinary lengths to make it so bland and tasteless, Im not even exaggerating because I have no clue how you can take meat and sauce and have it come out so horrible and devoid of any flavor. Whoever Frankie is should take down the sign bragging about the meatballs because its false advertising. I wanted to return them for my money back but it stunk up my car so bad it wasnt worth the torture of driving around with them.

I usually like thier Pizza, however last night I got a Pizza from them and it was horrible. I asked for extra sauce, but it had no sauce, was over-cooked, and tasted like cardboard. I could of got a better Pizza at Dominos. Ive ate at this place more then 6 times, and I cant believe that I had a Pizza this bad from them....Im from NJ and used to really good Pizza. Ill give them maybe one more shot and then Ill seek another place.

I tried this place a few months ago as its my fav original NYC style pizza in FTL. I like Anthony's but that is ok. Anthony's is to thick now and not liking it as much. I order from the place a few times a month. It really good and crispy. Awesome pizza

Order the margarita pizza, it is just as good if not better than specialty pizza joints charging 2x as much. The staff is great- very nice. Good lunch spot or grab a pie on the way home!

Real Italian pizza! That is what comes to mind after taking one bite into their large mouth watering slices. They have tons of vegetarian options, and the prices are great. Whenever I am back in Fort Lauderdale, I'll definitely stop here for my pizza cravings.

We were told when we placed our order it would be delivered in approximately 45 minutes. We called after 1 1/2 hours wait and were lied to and were told it would arrive momentarily. We called again 15 minutes later and were told they lost our ticket. Not even the courtesy of a call back or an offer to make it up to us. Terrible way to run a business. Actually, no stars!

The guys at Piezans have the art of making pizza down to a science. They use fresh ingredients and you can taste the quality. They have nice thin crust pizza with the right touch of oil, but not so much that its too greasy. Their crispy pizza is served to you by their friendly staff. The best part about Piezans is that they've been around for two years now, they're over that first two year bubble where most places fail, so we can all look forward to more great pizza from them. Piezans is by far my favorite pizza joint in Fort Lauderdale. 'Nuff said.

The bomb! Try mama's meatball and gravy pie. I almost wept after the first bite. So darn good. It's NY hard core. If you're looking for hermetically sealed slices, go to the frozen food isle. Great prices, very nice people. Two thumbs up.

Last week, read the reviews here and decided to give it a try. We really enjoyed it! The guy taking the order was very friendly, the pizza was on time and HOT. Super fresh. YUMMY crust. Found out they deliver to our area. We will be repeat customers! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Support local businesses!!!

I wish I could agree with the rest of the high ratings but sadly I never got to try the food since i waited over an hour and forty minutes for a pizza delivery at which point I canceled the order. I called after an hour to check on the delivery and was told it was already out for delivery. Forty minutes later when I called to cancel the order they told me they could offer me a 20% discount on my order...a savings of $2 for a cold pizza!!! Who would want to eat a pizza that has been driving around in a car for an hour?!? From what the reviews says, they have good food. Good food only goes so far if you can't ensure a reasonable timeframe for delivery and good customer service.

  • Dale N.

Had the 18" Hawaiian delivered to our home and it was very good. Fresh ingredients and a good crust and was not greasy. Slices are huge, New York style pizza. Delivery driver was polite and arrived at promised time.

Amazing pizza my boyfriend and I have fallen in love with the bruschetta pizza with ham added!!!!! Iv also had the meatballs which are better then any iv ever had! They were later then they told me for our last delivery, which was only 45 total, and they gave us a free brownie!!! Love love love them!

    (5)
  • Sarah S.

This is really good pizza, plain and simple. It's really only a take out place which is fine. The brownie other reviewers talked about was good, but very small and $3!!!

  • Kevin D.

Good quality meatballs and pizza. Clean inside with a friendly staff. They actually delivered to my home during a tropical storm while my car was in the shop...

  • Ryan O.

I'm only a few bites in on my first meal here. I got the fireballs(meatballs with habanero peppers in a fra diavlo gravy) and the Hawaiian fireball pizza. As you might deduce, I like spicy... and both of these dishes satisfy that in a great way. Aside from that, everything is just flat out awesome. One bite of my garlic bread dipped in some of the best Italian gravy I've ever had and I'm hooked. Never expected to find such quality in South Florida. Especially from a very unassuming storefront in a rather sleepy area on S Andrews. My hats off to the owners. People... Please go try this place!!!! NOW!!!!

I guess I should of started to walk out as when I saw the pizza maker take change for the pizza and put it into cash register then he proceeded to make my pizza it should of turned me off. I hate that I stayed as I didn't enjoy pizza. Hope owner reads yelp and changes his practices. Would of enjoyed it better but kept thinking about what he did . Oh well no next time for me

I relocated to Ft. Lauderdale from San Diego for a project that will keep me here for the next three years. I needed a pizza place that could even come halfway close to Landini's in San Diego's Little Italy. I tried all of the places the locals would say are the best. Forget Anthony's, Luigi's and all the other posers. So far, Pie-Zan's has proven they can make a good pizza. The ingredients are fresh, but more importantly the crust is as right as can be offered in town. The next step is to get some pies at lunch for my team and show them what they have been missing. Now, if I could just find a carne asada burrito in town!

Amazing pizza! Just had it for the first time. Doesn't compare to all the other chain pizza joints. Absolutely delicious!

I stayed in all weekend due to the rain and ordered take out every single day, so I have a better perspective on what can be delivered in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Piezans is just okay. I want to give them three stars but it is more of a 2 1/2. First of all I want to say that their spicy meatballs were AMAZING and very hot! Very good, and a great dish on a rainy afternoon. The "House Specialty" pizza - not so much. The crust was way too thin to handle their signature "gravy sauce". It was a sloppy mess. The toppings were pretty low grade compared to other places nearby and you could taste the difference. This was definitely more of a "fold it over" NY style pizza which is fine except for some strange reason it tasted like fish. Keep in mind there was no seafood on the pie. Sadly I ended up throwing most of the pizza out. I tried to like it, but you should never TRY to like pizza. I would come back for the meatballs, but since the rest of the menu was so limited - I most likely won't be a repeat customer.

  • Donald L.

Best downtown Fort Lauderdale pizza! They have a pizza called Mama Meatball's Pie that is absolutely amazing. The other Italian food they offer is also the best in downtown Fort Lauderdale in my opinion. Freshly made meatballs, salads made to order, and downtown fort lauderdale delivery to top it all off. pie-zans.com

meatballs are wonderful, Pizza is New York style pizza, nice and crispy, Would definitely go there again....

The Hell-Fire Hawaiian Pie will take the paint off your intestines - which is just the way I like it! A cayenne pepper sauce drizzle, come on! I never even leaned toward Hawaiian-style pizza until I tried Pie-zans - now it's Aloha! One of my favorite pizzas evah!! I raved about it to friends that live in Palmetto Bay and they finally got to try it. Now their cravings have them asking me if Pie-Zans will deliver that far south! The Fireballs are insane, and the garlic knots make me as happy as a little girl. Hot Stuff is right!

  • Jarrett Y.

We found our pizza place! Just moving down here about a month and a half ago we tried a few pizza joints out and nothing really made me want to come back until we ordered from pie-zans. This place under promised and over delivered! They said it would take an hour; it came in 40 minutes. We ordered 6 wings for $5.95. Bbq. Risky I know but the wife wanted it. The wings were on the bigger side and the bbq wasn't overpowering like some places. Very good and would recommend. We also ordered a large white pizza for $13.95 and this was delicious! The only thing they could potential change is the crust. I'm no pizza expert, but if they would brush a little garlic butter on the crust it would be magical. Even though I couldn't eat the crust I still gave it 5 stars because the rest of the pie was outstanding.

My husband and I decided to give this place a shot after seeing the many great reviews. They have signs all over the walls with advertising saying they were voted "Fort Lauderdale's #1 pizza" Of course, I saw that and my appetite grew even more, because pizza is my first love. I wanted to order absolutely everything on the menu, but my husband brought the sense back in my head, and we ended up ordering their House Special. This pie had everything but the kitchen sink... it had sausage, peppers, mushrooms, black olives, pepperoni and some other yummy things. The pie took about 15 mins to arrive to our table, and it looked GLORIOUS! However, when I took my first bite I was a bit disappointed. The marinara sauce was very blend, and while the pizza had all those other toppings, it still tasted very sad. The crust was pretty decent, but after trying other magnificent crusts (Mellow Mushroom) It's hard to settle for a plain old crust. I won't say this is the worse pizza I have ever had, but it is most def not the best one in Fort Lauderdale. I am not sure if I would come back here, it was unfortunately not something that made my taste buds go crazy.. boooo

We probably order food from here on a weekly basis. So we had to review. Plus It is seriously that good. We have tried all of their pizza, love their antipasto salad, and when I am away, my boyfriends seems to always order a chicken Parmesan sandwich. Another good thing. They are always on time with their deliveries... or should I say honest about the amount of time it will be until delivery. Although there may be a wait, the pizza comes hot, everything is always there, and the delivery dudes are cool. We recommend it if you order in.

  • Josh N.

Order this to be delivered to my hotel. They only delivered to front desk. They brought the wrong soda, though they offered to go get me the right one I didn't want to wait an additional 20-25 mins. Pizza was greasy and was not hot at all. I wouldn't even call it warm. Just wasn't impressed with the 4 stars it has.

I've literally passed Pie-Zan's every day for almost two years. With the Monday thru Wednesday cheese pizza special at $6.99 for a large pie, I stopped in tonight. Only problem - today is Thursday. Alexis was my server and I was promptly offered a menu. Seeking a to-go order, I was more into a sandwich for my evening meal. Ordering the 50/50 Parmigiana, the sandwich was a meatball and sausage parmigiana straight up. Alexis inquired whether I wanted a drink and when I stated "no," she offered up that for a dollar more I could have a Dr. Brown's soda and a bag of chips. I spent the extra buck. Sandwich preparation was a little slow but not unexpected. The menu warned that everything was made to order and that preparation time could take longer. Clean restaurant and friendly staff. They deliver north to Las Olas where I live locally, so I grabbed a menu. Sandwich was tasty and good. I will return in the future. /s/ William E. Lewis Jr. , Fort Lauderdale, Florida

This place is just awesome, is like a little pizza heaven you can dine in it is small but trust me you wouldn't be disappointed or you can have it to go, anyhow the pizza is just perfect and I also tried the lasagna and was as good as they can be. let me try to explain it like this I drove more than 25 miles just to eat here again.

A long day at the beach left us a little tired to go back out for dinner, so we ordered delivery to our hotel. I have friends who live in different parts of FL who complain about the pizza options down south, so I had (unfairly) low expectations. After reading some Yelp reviews I decided on Pie-zan's. The delivery was pretty quick, and I found a good deal on-line. To my surprise they also give an additional discount on your first order. I was really impressed with the pie. The crust and toppings were great. Very traditional to NYC style pizza I've tried in the past. There was a nice balance of sauce to toppings and the crust had a nice chew to it while still being fold-able. I'd definitely recommend this place.

The pizza was awesome and the $4.99 for 2 slices and a soda deal is a great deal! The cashier was friendly and my pizza came out super quick. I will dedinitely be returning.

I have a friend that works here. Subsequently, I have had a LOT of cold slices of pizza that were left over after hours. I always thought it was just OK. Those who follow my reviews should know, I am somewhat of a stickler on pizza. I picked up a large HOT pie here the other day for the first time. Let me just say that this pizza sent me 1300 miles, all the way to NYC! Excellent homemade sauce, crispy perfect crust and the perfect amount of cheese. How have I never ordered from here before?? This is the new standard for pizza in Florida for me. Not to mention the was a deal, $8 large pie (14")! The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. The owners do a lot of good in the community and have helped a lot of people. Check this place out if you haven't already!

  • Jessica S.

Food is AMAZING! The meatballs and personal pepperoni bread is so yummy! Definitely need to get the Grand Slam (I think) Large 1 topping pizza, balls and gravy, salad, and personal pepperoni bread. Must try this place if have not!! I love it and so does my family!!

    (5)
  • Mike B.

The food here is good, nothing particularly special. They do run frequent specials on the pizza and it seems that the price I pay for the same pizza is different every time I order...annoying. I would come here much more often if they weren't so SLOW. Seems to always be significantly longer wait then they state. Service is terrible! There are much better options downtown.

    (2)
  • Heather D.

Order delivery from them often. Always GREAT food! Pizza is the best I've had in the area.

    (5)
  • Ari K.

The food is fantastic . The girl in the front during the evening is not only obnoxious and rude, but regularly overcharges or gives back the incorrect change by rounding up. I think it's very unprofessional and annoying everybody else including the delivery drivers rock. Always check your change as well as the prices you should be paying Thank you

  • Andrew R.

I got the ravioli and bread knots. They get an extra star because they delivered it to my hotel room. The food, however, was unremarkable and nothing I couldn't recreate from a few bags of frozen items at Costco. Hopefully the other items on the menu are better; based on this I won't order from here again when there are so many choices available around here.

  • Drew D.

First let me note I use my favorite, Luigis, as a standard comparison for all pizza in Fort Lauderdale that I review. With that being said, Not sure we ordered quite properly here. We had a large margherita pizza which lacked any sauce, and left us tasting the pizza for hours after eating it. The crust was tasty, chewy, and had a great texture but it would have greatly benefitted from some sauce. Next time, I will order another type of pizza, as the margherita isn't this place's signature. We also had the habanero meatballs. I'm gonna clear the air here, the heat factor was so minuscule on these that a toddler could have devoured them without need for milk or water to cool the mouth. They were simply not spicy at all, which was shocking bc we were warned they may be too much to handle... They were also a bit tough. Like I said, I will return here to give another type of pizza a try, as I want to believe that they are likely better at other pies besides the margherita.

I've gotten delivery twice now. Both times the pizza and garlic knots were prepared the way I requested and delivered while still warm. The price is a little high but, I guess you get what you pay for...

  • Christine W.

Very poor customer service! I called and they answered the phone with a "Can you please hold" click that was it. No time to answer, I was on hold before I had a chance to say a word. Good pizza but they need someone more professional answering the phones. Lost a customer tonight.

  • Amanda M.

Delivery took about an hour but they were right on time with what they told me. The pizza toppings go right to the edge and are generous. The garlic bread is yummy and the driver was super courteous! Nice to have the options they offer. Great choice for NY style pizza at the neach! LOVE

This is now our regular pizza spot. The prices are good and so is the pizza. The staff is friendly and the service is good.

Awesome pizza!! We got the large one topping pie that was on special and it was amazing. Piezans is definitely up there for best pizza in Broward. I really wish I had tried this place sooner. My only complaint is that it took a pretty long time for our pie to come out.

  • CC L.

Great in and out place- tastes excellent and fairly priced! GET THE BRUSCHETTA PIZZA it was fresh and delish. I also suggest the garlic knots.

  • Toni R.

I ordered for delivery a personal pie with fireballs and garlic knots. Cost was a little over 15 with 20% tip and delivery fee, not bad. The food came quickly. The pizza was crispy and cheesy, and I thought it was very good. Sadly, they must have just put regular meatballs on my pizza. There definitely was no fire :( the regular meatballs come sliced on top and don't really have much flavor. The garlic knots were mediocre. I would have given 3.5 stars if I could.

    (3)
  • Bonnie F.

Wow. I mean really amazing!!!! I ordered the fire meatballs which came with the most amazing garlic bread! Sooooo good! I also had a spicy Hawaiian and holy amazing moly. It was like a spicy dance party in my mouth! Ordered as delivery and it was amazing! Definitely will be using this place as my main pizza place from now on! Hell to the spicy Delish yeah!!

  • Jacob J.

I eat here kind of often.. pizza is pretty good with an open kitchen to see what's going on.. meatballs and gravy app with garlic bread is yummy.. good compared to some over priced junk that's in the area

  • Maria F.

Awesome pizza...awesome fireball meatballs and delicious homemade brownies. We've ordered delivery from here numerous times and have never been disappointed! Fresh, tasty and leaving you feeling sated. Delivery is always within the time frame they give you and the driver is as friendly as the girl that takes your order on the phone. Thank you for being consistently delicious. Love this food!

I was a little skeptical about this pizza place I have passed through here numerous of times and keep forgetting it's here; today I decided to stop with the wife and kid and believe it or not the pizza is actually not bad at all better than franchise companies. I'll definitely come back.

First pizza place we tried upon our relocation to this coast. Food was solid, great pie and the wings were good as well. Definitely worth a shot if you're in town. I'm sure I'll be ordering from here on many occasions.

We are from New York and visiting ordered via chownow, at 730 & called wondering where food was at 820 was told food would be here at 845 and arrived 853 at best Luke warm. Called and spoke to them and they insisted it was suppose to arrive at 847 which makes no sense and we're not very accommodating . Also garlic bread has bottled garlic, wings are ok too much pepper primo parmigiana was just ok. Will not be ordering here and will complain to chownow about delivery rude service, geez and I thought New Yorkers are rude!

  • Jim W.

The best pizza in all of broward county, others try but can't come close. A++ service is what I get when I order from these guys. Fast delivery at a great price, no delivery charge. Like I stated they are simply the best.

After being treated beyond shamefully by Big C's (DISGUSTING) I switched my business to this restaurant and let me say, the pasta dishes and pizza are absolutely the most delicious ever!!!!!! The salads are fresh and generous and CLEAN. I have had their baked lasagna and stuffed shells and they were YUMMY. I'll never go back to Big C's after I ended up with a rusted pin in my throat that was in their food when delivered. The only drawback to Piezans is their delivery wait time but I just go pick it up. I think their delivery takes so long because they care about their quality and presentation so I get it. Easy to just pop by and grab it from their counter anyway. LOVE!!!

  • Sylvia M.

This place is the reason I opened a Yelp account. I LOVE this place!! I'm from New York and I haven't found pizza this good since!! I live in Hialeah by Miami Springs and I will drive my ass over here just for some pizza!! I haven't had much of their other food except the meatball sub (great) and the garlic knots (also pretty good)..but I come for the pizza!! YOU MUST EAT THIS PIZZAAAA!! :)

    (5)
  • D. H.

$15.00 for 14' Pizza and an Italian sub. Not bad! The pizza was New York style-ish - not exact, but was decent. The sub was great - not an Italian I am used to up north- but the prep people obviously took some time and effort to make it - nice presentation. Will go back. BTW - no seating, this is a take out place.

One of my favorite pizza spots ever. I have only gotten there delivery and has been excellent. The staff is friendly over the phone and worked with me when I had a large order of over 10 pies for a party (made a generous discount) and the food is great. The hellfire Hawaiian pizza is my favorite! Also the meatballs are really good. I used to order from new river but they have been replaced by piezans!

  • Jessica E.

Picked this place on a whim and really enjoyed it. We ordered cesar salad, meatballs, cheese pizza, bruchetta pizza and garlic knots. Everything was really good. The bruchetta pizza was my favorite, and the cesar salad (which is usually "meh" in restaurants) was very good. We would definitely go back.

Piezan's featuring pizza and Frankie's meatballs isn't eally much of a restaurant but more of an order and take out place. There are counter like arrangements at which to eat but only one table with three stools, so if you're a large group, you may have a problem dinning unless some of your companions are dogs and don't mind dinning on the floor. I tried Frankie's meatballs which were big, just slightly smaller than baseball size, delicious, served smothered in a fresh tasting tomato sauce and, if you eat in, served with a cloth napkin along with metal (not plastic) flatware which to me was a surprising treat; particularly when the tab for two meatballs with bread and a soda, tax included, only came to $6.18. Piezan's also has a reputation for their pizza, once voted best pizza in Lauderdale by Channel 10, but having tried a slice I do have to say that it was good but didn't find anything outstanding or impressive about it. As a food take out with rock bottom prices, I have to give it a Four Star. As a restaurant, well I can't even rate it as such because it really isn't.....it's a take out; pretty much of a joint which makes my review somewhat subjective to me, so overall a solid Three Plus.

Consistently really good pizza. We always get the treehugger. If I want pizza delivered, I order from here. Prices are good too.

This is now my new favorite pizza place. From being up north to coming down to Florida this is the closest I have come to New York style pizza. The driver was super nice and when you call the staff is so friendly and the food always comes nice and hot. I would highly recommend this for delivery anytime you are just sitting home and craving some really delicious pizza

The food was awesome. Especial pizza, perfect crispy crust, great sauce and exactly the right amount of cheese. however, we did not receive any serving utensils. The staffs were nice and they offered to help me to carry our food to the car.

Great pizza and other food! Every time I order delivery, it arrives before they say it will. Always hot and fresh. The one time I had an issue with my order, they went above and beyond to correct the issue! Love their chicken parmigiana and the meatballs & gravy!

The food is out of this world! Next best to Little Italy in NYC. Food is homemade and made with care. Most times when I call Frankie answers and always makes sure your order is made to your perfection. Always my first recommendation for those who ask for authentic Italian in Fort Lauderdale.

The Fireball pie, or "Papa Habañero," (as it is apparently called, now) is my absolute favorite pizza, in all of Fort Lauderdale. I have tried many pies, from many kitchens, and this is the best. The fireballs are perfect as a pie topping, and i strongly recommend that everyone try it, at least once. The Meatballs & Gravy are excellent. These are literally the best meatballs I have ever tasted (though I would never admit it to my grandmothers)! The brownies are always fantastic. I have tried three varieties, now, and all were great. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is consistently of the highest quality. I will return to Piezans, as long as they are open.

I love Piezans pizza. I have ordered take out from Piezans several times when I am in South Florida and I have a great meal each and every time. My favorite pizza is the meatball pie, but I also like the margherita pizza. We ordered a tray of chicken marsala for a christmas party and that was delicous too. Of course we had to add on some meatballs as those are a must. Great staff, great location and great food.

This establishment sponsors my sons little league. The pizza is sold in the concession stand and we eat it twice a week. I have never been here so I can't comment on the looks of the place. I have only had their pizza and it is very good. It has a thin crust which I prefer. The cheese is a good quality. I would like a little spicer sauce or maybe just more of it (not hot spicy but Italian spices) but not sure if the kids would like it as much that way. We look forward to the piezans pizza saves me time from having to cook dinner on nights we have practice and games. Thanks guys!

Another great find via yelp. Came in to the area blind and relied upon yelp for a great pizza place. You didn't disappoint. Good service, great pizza and good price. Thanks Yelp.

I had to try this "gravy", so i ordered the meatballs and gravy with the garlic bread. The bread was blah. They do use real garlic and it had nice chunks like I like, but it doesn't travel well as my order was a delivery. The meatballs and gravy came to my hotel room HOT, so hot I had to put it down before I could pay the delivery driver. They tasted great and had a nice spicy heat to them. They were so big I could only eat one, as I ate all the garlic bread because you know that wont keep until the next day!! To round out my order, I had to try their special brownies. They had Reese's and some other candy bar topped one. I ordered both, to avoid a delivery charge, and ate the one I couldn't remember. They were so thin! The pieces were large over 3x3, but they were the height of a cookie sheet or smaller. I like my brownies really thick. The kids enjoyed the Reese's brownie though.

I ordered lunch to go from this place because of great reviews from yelpers. It's a colorful restaurant in the corner of the street. yelp.com/biz_photos/A5o-… very small inside and only a single customer. (I got there around 1:30pm) yelp.com/biz_photos/A5o-… However the cozy decor like signs this yelp.com/biz_photos/A5o-… and this yelp.com/biz_photos/A5o-… gave me a small lol. The lady in the front is very friendly yelp.com/biz_photos/A5o-… wished i caught her name. The slice of Tomato and Basil Pizza yelp.com/biz_photos/A5o-… is a pretty decent size. The thin slice bottom has a nice and very crispy crust, light on the sauce, and my toppings are really really fresh. I then realized the freshness is because the toppings are raw, like putting a salad on top of the pizza. It's interesting in a good way, but I still prefer them baked in the oven a bit. The Sausages & Gravy yelp.com/biz_photos/A5o-… It's kinda interesting they called tomato sauce "gravy" (maybe I'm missing something?). But anyways, I like the sauce, but the sausage is a bit bland. However eating them together forms a nice blend of texture and taste. The Fireballs yelp.com/biz_photos/A5o-… I don't think they added extra habanero into the meatballs, just the 'gravy' is habanero infused. It's not hot enough that you'll break into a sweat. The 2 meat balls probably weight half pound together, pretty decent sized. But they are dense and tough. I really prefer them a bit softer. Good flavor though. The sausages and fireballs came with Garlic breads. yelp.com/biz_photos/A5o-… They smell sooooooo good, but the flavor of sausages and fireballs completely over powers the the taste of the garlic breads and they end up have no taste :( I recommend you eat them before you eat anything else. All in all, not a bad place, but at least for me, it's not as AWESOME of an experience as other yelpers had.

Ducked in to grab some to-go goodies because Nick's (next door) was closed, so I decided to give this joint a try. Lots of cooking space and pizza ovens in the back, not a lot of area or seating in the front. A tiny high topper table and some counter space is about it. So don't visit here to dine in, take it to go. I enjoyed two "Pie-Zanwiches" - cutesy restaurant-lingo for their sandwiches. The Fireball Parm consisted of habanero infused meatballs, provolone and mozzarella, and some fra diavolo gravy, and then thrown in the oven to toast, coming in at $8.95. I also ordered a Fireball 50/50 with meatballs and sausage and cheese. Same price and same finish. Both sandwiches were okay. Maybe a little overpriced in my experience. One was spicy and one was not, so the consistency there is off. They have pizza and pasta, salads, dessert and more. Hopefully what you get will be more impressive than what I got. I noticed happy patrons coming and going and enjoying pizza and pasta, so maybe that is the better choice. It took almost 20 minutes for them to make two subs. that is about 10 minutes too long. Cabeza OUT!

This place is ok.. Not the best ZA I have ever had but also not the worst. The meatballs are good and spicy just like others have written. The garlic knots should only be had that way and without the cheese. We picked the cheese off bc it was hard and crusty and just didn't go well with the knots. Surprisingly the Greek salad was the s*it.. Who knew a pizza joint could throw the greens together like that. A+ on salad!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
